This quote was on my desktop zen calendar Tuesday. It was appropriate for that day considering the intervals I ran in the rain and anyone who is an ultra runner has run through rain and snow and has been cold, hungry and weary.
"Take long walks in stormy weather or through deep snows in the fields and woods, if you would keep your spirits up. Deal with brute nature. Be cold and hungry and weary." - Henry David Thoreau
